A Drive Clean pass is valid for one year from its date of issue to renew a vehicle’s registration or transfer its ownership.

The pass certificate must be valid on the day your registration expires or – for late renewals or vehicle transfers – it must be valid on the date of the transaction.

Please have you VIN number available.

The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) can be located in the following places:

• on the “Statement of Compliance” label in the driver’s door opening – if it’s the original door
• on the vehicle dashboard
• on the vehicle ownership certificate issued by the Ministry of Transportation
• on the vehicle insurance information (pink form) issued by your insurance company
